Hartlepool is the far end of our patch, about half an hour up the A19. It is worth the drive. The older streets on the Headland and around Church Street have some of the oldest wiring we see, while Seaton Carew, Owton Manor and Hart are a mix of ages.
Sea air is hard on outside fittings, so outdoor sockets, garden supplies and security lights come up more here than anywhere else on the patch. We fit them properly protected so they last. Everything is tested and certified before we leave.
