Norton is our own doorstep. The village around the Green and the duck pond is a conservation area, so the Georgian and Victorian houses along the High Street need work done sympathetically: cables run out of sight, chases cut cleanly and made good properly.
Out towards Norton Grange, Blakeston Lane and the Glebe the houses are newer and the jobs change with them, more extra sockets, garden power and kitchen rewiring. Whichever end of Norton you are on, it is the same fixed price up front and the same tidy finish.
